Before starting Surprise Trade, there is a code that was given out in the Pokémon Players Cup IV Stream, and you can get a Beast Ball, it is only live from then until August 2nd.
Then for Surprise Trade, and for this week, it will be Archen, the First Bird Pokémon, that's really what it is in the Pokédex, so at least we get a Fossil Pokémon for this week.
I usually breed for 31 IVs in at least 4 or 5 stats, and I went with Jolly for the Nature, as Archen is fast and has very high Attack, and its evolved form Archeops has base 140 Attack, which is very high for a non-Legendary Pokémon, but then again Archen has base 112 Attack, which is very high for a Pokémon that isn't fully evolved.
For the Egg Moves on Archen, I went with Head Smash, Knock Off, Defog, and Switcheroo, as I found them to be the best ones to go with, it also gets Bite and Double Team as well, I will list which parents in the Flying and Water 3 Egg Groups that can learn those moves.
Bite: Zubat, Golbat, Aerodactyl, Crobat, Skorupi, Drapion, Tirtouga, Carracosta, Noibat, Noivern
Defog: G-Farfetch'd, Rufflet, Braviary, Sirfetch'd
Double Team: Noibat, Noivern
Head Smash: Corsola, G-Corsola, Cursola (Requires Chain Breeding)
Knock Off: Farfetch'd, G-Farfetch'd, Corphish, Crawdaunt, Skorupi, Drapion, Sirfetch'd
Switcheroo: Corphish, Crawdaunt, Binacle, Barbaracle (Requires Chain Breeding)

I don't understand why Archen is even in the Water 3 Egg Group, it's not even based on an aquatic animal, it's the ancestor of bird Pokémon, I even checked its origin page on Bulbapedia, and the evolution line is based on the Archaeopteryx, which is believed to be the earliest of all birds, so I don't get why it's in the Water 3 Egg Group.
As for Head Smash and Switcheroo, Corsola learns Head Smash from Relicanth and Drednaw, while Corphish learns Switcheroo from the Inkay line.
Archen learns a wide selection of level up moves, it can get Quick Attack, Leer, Rock Throw, Wing Attack, Dragon Breath, Ancient Power, Pluck, Quick Guard, U-turn, Rock Slide, Scary Face, Crunch, Agility, Tailwind, Dragon Claw, Thrash, and Endeavor, it evolves into Archeops at Level 37, and it doesn't learn any moves that Archen doesn't get.
Then for TMs and TRs, I will mainly be going over Archeops's, as there are some Archen cannot learn, it can learn Fly, Dig, Steel Wing, Rock Tomb, Bounce, Rock Blast, Assurance, Shadow Claw, Bulldoze, and Air Slash, and by the way, Archen cannot learn Fly as it is a flightless bird. For TR moves, Archeops can learn Earthquake, Outrage, Iron Tail, Heat Wave, Iron Defense, Dragon Claw, Dragon Pulse, Focus Blast, Earth Power, Zen Headbutt, Stone Edge, Stealth Rock, and Ally Switch, and for Tutor moves, it can learn Dual Wingbeat, Meteor Beam, and Lash Out.
For competitive battling, as well as online battles, Archeops is a powerful attacker with high Speed, but it does have a drawback, its Ability of Defeatist drops Archeops's Attack and Special Attack by 50% if its HP is below half, so it continues the trend of Pokémon that are overpowered, but are held back by their Ability, just like Slaking and Regigigas.
Archeops can be used as a Special Attacker, the recommended Nature is Timid, and it can use Meteor Beam, Heat Wave, Air Slash, and Earth Power for moves, and it can hold a Power Herb so it can fire off Meteor Beam right away. To make use of its Attack, a Jolly Nature is preferred, and the moves it can use are Stone Edge, Dual Wingbeat, U-turn, and Earthquake, if they kept the Gems from Black & White, even though we have the Normal Gem, we had different types of them, and Archeops with Acrobatics and the Flying Gem was so overpowered, it can destroy anything that didn't resist Flying. While it does learn Head Smash, the drawback is that Archeops will take heavy recoil damage, and it will be put into Defeatist range, it can be a tricky Pokémon to use, but it is at its most powerful as long as its HP doesn't drop below 50%.
I have used Archeops in a Double Battle along with Galarian Weezing, and it does have some good Double Battle moves, like Rock Slide and Tailwind, it does have a wide selection of moves, like Dual Wingbeat, Heat Wave, Iron Tail, and a few other moves. It isn't an easy Pokémon to fit in onto a team if its Ability is a drawback to it, but with Galarian Weezing's Neutralizing Gas, that will prevent Defeatist from activating, so that way Archeops can be put to good use, even its HP is below 50%.
If ever they bring back the Gems, because I feel like they are forgotten about ever since Generation 5, and the only one they ever seem to bring back is the Normal Gem, we could see the return of the Flying Gem on Archeops, but then again Archeops wasn't much of a top-tier Pokémon in Generation 5, because its Ability is kind of a drawback to its high Attack stat, it's sort of a way to balance it out from being too powerful.
