I have now obtained the Unite License for Meowscarada, and it was not easy to get because it took 4 weeks to complete challenges to even get it in the first place. I do show the Panic Parade mode that is also live at the time, which had a focus on Gen 9 Pokémon like Tinkaton, Bellibolt, and Flamigo.
Meowscarada is a Speedster, it is a close range fighter that is good at offense, but doesn't have the best endurance. Its Ability is Overgrow, when Meowscarada takes damage that reduces it to half of its maximum HP, it disappears for a short time, and it gains extra movement speed and damage dealt increase, and it recovers HP when it deals damage to opposing Pokémon, and its Ability goes on cooldown when triggered.
It has a rough early game, as it starts out as Sprigatito, and for its basic attack, it becomes a boosted attack when a set amount of time passes, and boosted attacks have it leap at opposing Pokémon to deal additional damage. As for its starting moves in the Sprigatito stage, as it doesn't even learn new moves until it becomes Meowscarada. It has Leafage and Hone Claws, Leafage deals damage and decreases movement speed, and Hone Claws is a dash attack that increases the speed and damage of Sprigatito's next three basic attacks.
For evolutions, its first evolution is Floragato at Level 4, but it doesn't learn any new moves in that stage, and it evolves into Meowscarada at Level 6. It learns Flower Trick or Night Slash, those replace Leafage, and from what I have checked, Floragato cannot learn Night Slash, and it obviously cannot learn Flower Trick in the main series games as that is its signature move when fully evolved into Meowscarada. Flower Trick has Meowscarada attach a flower bomb to an opposing Pokémon, and it can be detonated when the move is used again, and it deals damage based on the amount of HP the opposing Pokémon has lost, and it has an increased area effect if Meowscarada deals damage to the opposing Pokémon with a flower bomb attached to it, and the cooldown is reset if that Pokémon is knocked out with the move. Night Slash deals damage and leaves a mark on the opposing Pokémon, and Meowscarada's moves have an increased critical hit rate on marked Pokémon, and it heals HP and reduces the cooldown of Night Slash when it deals damage to them.
At Level 7, Meowscarada learns Double Team or Trailblaze, those replace Hone Claws, I wanted to check and see, and only Meowscarada can learn Double Team out of its evolution line. With Double Team, it creates a copy of itself while dashing, and when used again, it can swap with its copy, and if the copy's HP drops to 0, it scatters flower petals, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon and leaving them unable to act. Trailblaze has Meowscarada leap to a designated location, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon and leaving the paralyzed. If it hits opposing Pokémon, its basic attack speed and movement speed increase for a short time, and it gains extra range if used in tall grass, and if it knocks out an opposing Pokémon, the move's cooldown is reset.
Meowscarada's Unite Move is Floral Flourish, it learns it at Level 9, Meowscarada creates a whirlwind of flowers around it which deal damage to opposing Pokémon, and it cannot use any moves while using its Unite Move, and can be cancelled out of if used again.
At Level 11, Flower Trick or Night Slash are upgraded, Flower Trick has an increased area of effect for the explosion and increases Meowscarada's movement speed after it is used, and Night Slash has increased critical hit rate and HP recovery. At Level 13, Double Team or Trailblaze are upgraded, Double Team increases the amount of time the illusory copy remains before disappearing, and decreases the amount of damage taken by the illusory copy, and for Trailblaze, Meowscarada is granted a shield when the move is used.
Meowscarada's playstyle is kind of like Absol's, where both Pokémon are Speedsters and deal increased damage to opponents with one of their moves, its Night Slash does remind me of Absol's Psycho Cut where it can leave a mark on opponents and deal increased damage to them. Best items for Meowscarada are those that increase critical hit rate, like Scope Lens and Razor Claw, it can work with Muscle Band, Float Stone, and Attack Weight for items, and the preferred moves from experience are Night Slash and Trailblaze, that way it can deal some massive damage to foes, while Flower Trick requires Meowscarada to attack the Pokémon affected by the move to make the best use of it, and Double Team pairs better with that.
