While I have made it to Alfornada, I decided to explore the rest of South Province Area Six and see what kinds of Pokémon can be found in the area, and I take on some Trainers, some of which have some evolved Pokémon that provide good experience, as I do want to get in some training before taking on the Gym.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

I will wait till the next part to check out Alfornada, but before then, there are some Trainers to battle against, and some of them have some interesting Pokémon. One of them uses a Brambleghast, the evolution of Bramblin if you walk with it for 1000 steps with the Let's Go feature, and I do like the Trainer that uses Sawsbuck, Pyroar, and Golduck, don't know if it is an intential reference to a certain RPG game which also took place in an academy, although it would have made more sense if he had Corviknight instead of Golduck. One Trainer has an Eiscue, which you can find at North Province Area Three, it is exclusive to Violet, and there is the Boss Trainer that uses Electric-type Pokémon, his team is Raichu, Luxray, and Eelektross.
Going over wild encounters, there are some evolved Pokémon you can find, like Sylveon, Vaporeon, Flareon, Gallade, Sunflora, Banette, Gogoat, Donphan, Scovillain, Espathra, and many others, and around the ruins, you can find Hypno, Bronzong, and Tinkatuff, and the lake at the top of the mountain has Bellibolt and Golduck.
For new encounters, you can find Klefki, it does come with Flash Cannon when caught, and with Prankster, it can set up screens and use Thunder Wave. Klefki has decent stats, although they are not that high, its main use is to set up for its teammates, it isn't much of a damage dealer, if you want to use Klefki for dealing damage, it can learn Calm Mind, and that can be paired up with Flash Cannon and Draining Kiss, and it has a good type combo of Steel/Fairy if you are interested in using one.
Next is Gothorita, while you can encounter Gothita back at East Province Area Three, Gothorita are quite common at South Province Area Six. There is a rare chance you can find the fully evolved Gothitelle. One thing I have looked up is that Gothita can learn Psychic at Level 36, and Gothorita cannot learn the move through level up, but it can as Gothitelle, don't know if it is an error or not, but it is strange to see that Gothorita can't learn Psychic as a level up move, it's kind of a similar case to Gastrodon where the East Sea Gastrodon can't learn Earth Power, yet the West Sea Gastrodon can. It's even strange that Gothitelle is available in this game, and Reuniclus isn't, because these two have been counterparts since Generation 5, and almost anytime one of them is available, the other can be obtained in that game, but it isn't the case in this game.
This must be the area where you can find the Authentic Sinistea, and this requires a Chipped Pot in order to evolve into Polteageist. It's a good option for the upcoming Psychic-type Gym, if you want to use a Polteageist, I recommend teaching it Hex through TM, but then again there are some good Pokémon to pick up, like Lokix for example, it learns First Impression at Level 44, and that can do massive damage to the Psychic-type Pokémon you will be fighting against.
At the top of the mountain, there is a lake, and this is where you can find Dratini, it should evolve into Dragonair in one level, but it isn't until Level 55 that it can be fully evolved. Its best Dragon-type option till that point is Dragon Rush, which has 75% accuracy, although it can learn Dragon Pulse through TM to give it a more reliable Dragon-type move. When fully evolved, it can learn Outrage, giving it a very powerful Dragon-type move right away, and it can learn many different moves, a very good option if you want to take the time to get it fully evolved.
I did read somewhere that you can find a Hawlucha with the Bug Tera Type, but I have not been able to find one in this video, it's a good Pokémon to use against the Psychic-type Gym, as Hawlucha does come with X-Scissor, and it can learn U-turn through TM, allowing you to have something that can take on Psychic-type Pokémon. The League Staff at the Pokémon Center gives you the TM for Flare Blitz for defeating some Trainers at South Province Area Six.
