I have got six Gym Badges, and the next place I want to take on is the Alfornada Gym, the Gym Leader there is Tulip, and she is a specialist on Psychic-type Pokémon. Before that, from West Province Area One, I have to go through Alfornada Cave or take a detour that leads there.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

Back when we explored West Province Area One, there was a sign leading to Alfornada Cavern, and it said that the Pokémon there are way stronger than the ones at West Province Area One. This cave is easier to access if your ride has the ability to jump higher, which you gain after defeating the Titan Orthworm back at East Province Area Three, but you can take the detour.
Alfornada Cavern has a bunch of Trainers, the Boss Trainer there has a Hippowdon and Lycanroc that makes use of the sandstorm, and what I don't understand is why that Dragon Tamer has a Level 40 Haxorus, which should still be a Fraxure at that point, and it doesn't even evolve till Level 48, I can't think of any instance that you can get a Haxorus at Level 40, unless Max Raid Battles in Pokémon Sword & Shield count where you can find Level 35 Haxorus in them.
The detour has some interesting Pokémon to fight, one Trainer uses a Rabsca, this is the only Trainer in the game to use one, it is a Bug/Psychic-type that evolves from Rellor when you walk 1000 steps using the Let's Go feature.
For cave encounters, there are a lot of evolved Pokémon, like Toxtricity, and I don't know if the Toxtricity in the cave have certain Natures that ensure the form, of if it is only when Toxel evolves that determines Toxtricity's form, but this is where you can catch one, and you will want one with Punk Rock, it learns the move Overdrive at Level 44, which is powered up by Punk Rock, and it has good Special Attack, making it a good Pokémon to use.
There are wild Medicham in Alfornada Cavern, and this does save the time training up a Meditite, and it comes with High Jump Kick, although if you don't like the riskiness of the move, Drain Punch is an alternative. Medicham is set to go as it can get Zen Headbutt and the Elemental Punches, while you can find Meditite closer to the evolution level, Medicham are usually seen with groups of Meditite.
Next up is Salazzle, which also saves the time finding a female Salandit, it has good Speed and Special Attack, Salazzle does come with Venoshock and Incinerate, and does require a TM to get Sludge Bomb, while Flamethrower is learned at Level 51, not a bad Pokémon to pick up if you haven't had any luck finding a female Salandit.
For version exclusives, you can find Pupitar in Scarlet, or Shelgon in Violet, but one Pokémon that can be encountered is Deino, this Pokémon is exclusive to Scarlet. Deino evolves very late, it isn't until Level 50 that it evolves once, and its final evolution isn't until Level 64, this is the latest a Pokémon can evolve by level up, while it has high Special Attack when fully evolved, you won't have it fully evolved until the end of the game.
Glimmet isn't a new encounter, but you can find them in the cave, and they can be encountered close to the evolution level, allowing you to have Glimmora right away. If the Glimmet are at Level 37, they should have Power Gem right away, and for Sludge Wave, Glimmet learns it at Level 46, while Glimmora learns it at Level 50, this isn't worth holding off on, it does work with Venoshock when paired with Toxic Debris. Glimmora does get good coverage options, like Dazzling Gleam, Earth Power, Energy Ball, Flash Cannon, and many other moves, and it is one of few Special Attacking Rock-type Pokémon, if Meteor Beam was in this game, Glimmora would be one of the best users of that move when equipped with a Power Herb.
There are two wild Tera Pokémon in Alfornada Cavern, there is a Houndoom with the Ghost Tera Type that comes with Shadow Ball, and there is a Level 50 Umbreon with the Dark Tera Type, but it isn't easy to access until later on. Near where the detour starts is a Level 54 Dragonair with the Electric Tera Type, which can be evolved into a Dragonite in one level, but you are not that likely to capture Dragonair at that point in the game due to its high level.
