I make my way to the Glaseado Gym, which is a short path from Montenevera. The Gym is led by Grusha, known as the Sub-zero Shredder, and was once a pro snowboarder, and he had retired after an accident, he specializes in Ice-type Pokémon, and he is the highest levelled Gym Leader in the game when going by the Gym Leader's highest level Pokémon.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

The path to Glaseado Gym from Montenevera is a very short path, as there are only two Trainers, but you can take the path from Zapapico to Glaseado Gym, as the Trainers there give some good experience. The League Staff at the Pokémon Center gives you the TM for Blizzard for defeating enough Trainers at Glaseado Mountain, and Glaseado Gym is the first ever Gym to be located on a mountain, because usually Gyms tend to be in a city.
Upon entering, we have another encounter with Nemona, and it is time to take the Gym Test, which is Snow Slope Run, where you have to ride down the mountain on your Legendary ride and cross each gate to the finish, you will have to beat it in 1 minute and 30 seconds.
Then it is time to take on the Gym Leader, and we find a Cetoddle waiting at the stadium, until Grusha shows up, and this is a guy if you are wondering, Grusha was the first Gym Leader of this game to be revealed pre-release, and upon his reveal, people thought he was a woman, it wasn't till the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet site updated that revealed that he is a guy. It's really interesting that Grusha was the first Gym Leader to be revealed, but he's the final Gym Leader when going by levels, and he does not use the Cetoddle in his Gym Battle, as it is just there to accompany him, time to go over Grusha's Ice-type team.
Frosmoth: Blizzard, Tailwind, Bug Buzz
Beartic: Aqua Jet, Icicle Crash, Earthquake
Cetitan: Ice Spinner, Liquidation, Ice Shard
Altaria: Ice Beam, Dragon Pulse, Moonblast, Hurricane

Ice-type Pokémon shouldn't be that hard, as they don't have many resistances, and you might likely have a good Fire or Fighting-type to beat his team of Ice-type Pokémon, Rock or Steel are also good type choices to have. His lead of Frosmoth can use Tailwind to boost the Speed of his team for a few turns, it is 4x weak to Fire and Rock. Beartic has good type coverage, its Earthquake covers its weakness to Fire, Rock, and Steel, the safest bet is to use a Fighting-type to deal with Beartic, and his Cetitan has massive HP, and it has Liquidation to deal with Fire or Rock-type Pokémon. Grusha will Terastallize his Altaria to an Ice-type, powering up its Ice Beam, and if you have a Steel-type, it will resist all of Altaria's moves, and if the Steel-type Pokémon has the Steel Tera Type, that can take down Altaria really easy, you have to watch out for its Hurricane and Ice Beam.
After beating Grusha, he gives you the Ice Gym Badge and the TM for Ice Spinner, this is an 80 Power Physcial Ice-type move which destroys terrain, and a wide variety of Pokémon can learn that move, Quaquaval, Azumarill, Forretress, Donphan, Weavile, Floatzel, and Cyclizar are some good examples of Pokémon that can learn the move.
With 8 Gym Badges collected, it is time to take on the Pokémon League, and after some dialogue with Geeta, I then take on the Snow Slope Run, and you get some good rewards, like Never Melt Ice, an Ice Stone, and a Comet Shard, but it does get a bit harder the more you progress.
I was planning on showing the League Interview in this video, but because Geeta is at the Pokémon League, I decided to wait till then to show it, and the battle with Grusha was not planned for this video originally, I was going to show the path to Glaseado Gym in this video, and the Gym Battle would happen in the next part, but as the path to the Gym was short, I decided to do the Gym Battle in this video.
