Now that Vermilion City is completed and I have the Cut HM, I am able to receive the HM for Flash that makes Rock Tunnel much easier to traverse through along with taking the detour to get there that leads to Lavander Town. The first thing I do is go through Diglett Tunnel to head back around the Viridian and Pewter City area to find one of Oak's Assistants that gives you the HM for Flash. (Keep in mind, you need to have 10 dex entries before he can give you the HM) After getting the HM, I did the procedure to get a Paras in a poke ball along with another clefairy just to get the 1 and only Mr. Mime in the game for data. Afterwards, I grinded levels in the Diglett Cave with Squirtle since bubblebeam ends digletts decently. (Beware of the 100 Power Stab Dig they can do and well the Lv 29 Dugtrio that is rare to run into) Squirtle evolved into Wartortle to get some buff in stats and cuteness. Lastly, I just beat up the Trainers in Route 11 and Route 9 to gain Exp and eventually reach the entrance to Rock Tunnel. Enjoy -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/drewind_
