Uri Geller is a fascinating individual, one of those rare humans who is so unabashedly unique that you can't help but look on in awe. The spoon-bending psychic is famous for many things, mostly his love of bending spoons, but he is also famous for suing Nintendo over everybody's favorite Pokémon: Kadabra, known in Japan as Yungerer. This spoon-bending psychic Pokémon is a clear homage to Uri, but where Nintendo saw an homage, Uri saw a stolen identity, and fittingly demanded $100m in damages to his image. This sparked a 20 year long legal battle that saw Nintendo strike Kadabra from the TCG and Anime.
