After backtracking to the study room, I realize that I haven't picked up the crew badge of Phillip Pohl. His card will grant me access to his quarters where I can sift through his things. And for good reason, too! He has the green B key in his closet, the final key I need in order to proceed through the hatch in the research lab/med bay.

Beyond the door is a large elevator shaft. But the further down I go, the more the world disintegrates behind me. My only option is to head deeper into the underground cavern. Suddenly, I hear Karen's voice. She's been expecting me, it seems. After all this time, I finally come face to face with the entity and discover where Karen's been hiding out.

A psychedelic end sequence looks like an extended version of the space and time travel sequence from 2001 A Space Odyssey. And perhaps it's meant to be just that. It would look stunning in hypnotizing in VR. At the end of it all, will I be headed home?

P.O.L.L.E.N. is available in a standard PC or virtual reality experience.

The release date of P.O.L.L.E.N. was April 20, 2016 for Steam PC.
