You may know Pomping World as either Pang or Buster Bros. It actually has a history that dates all the way back to MSX computers in Japan, where it was first made by Hudson Soft and referred to simply as Cannon Ball. Eventually they licensed it to Mitchell Corporation for the now much more famous version we all know and love. Then again, do we all know and love Buster Bros.? I think it's a great vintage 1980's arcade game and I think this Super CD ROM version for TurboGrafx-16 or TurboDuo (PC Engine or PC Engine Duo) is excellent, but maybe it's not as well known to me as I think.
