Popeye Arcade Review
48From 1982 here's a look at Nintendo's classic arcade game, Popeye! This is one of my favorite games growing up and while I can't break any records on the game, I still love it.
You play as Popeye on a mission through three stages to save Olive Oil from Bluto (Brutus in the game) and the Sea Hag. Other characters like Wimpy and Sweet Pea will help out and of course, being Popeye you can grab a can of spinach and then you can knock out Bluto.
I'm more used to playing the NES version which is a bit easier then the arcade version. Bluto in the game is VERY devious and he loves to lunge at you and wave his arms around to knock you off the stage. The Sea Hag and her vulture are also there throwing bottles and skulls to try to keep you from saving Olive.
