The Walking Dead Version 1.19 Pinball Review
9From Modern Pinball NYC here's a look at Stern Pinball's newest game, The Walking Dead! This is a pro model running code version 1.19. As always we'll try to keep you up to date whenever there's revisions to the code as they change up the way the game plays.
This game was designed by John Borg, the same designer as Metallica and X-Men and you can see some elements in both games included in The Walking Dead. The middle prison C-Block works a lot like Sparky does in Metallica where you need to spell out PRISON and the doors will open to reveal a walker head that you bash. There's also a giant bash toy of the Well Walker from the second season of the show pinball fans have nicknamed "Wellverine". The biggest problem with the toy is that his arm blocks half of the letters in PRISON and you have to constantly tilt to the left to see how many letters you're up too.
I'm interested in seeing how the game is going to shape up with new code revisions. I feel like after you earn the Well Walker Multiball and Prison Multiball you're kind of screwed with other options for points.
