This route has some changes when compared to Brex's route. In the first room, I shoot the blue portal significantly lower than he does on the upper wall. This changes how high you get launched out of the other wall portal, which allows me to get to the buttons quicker.

Then, in the outside area, I changed the fling completely. First, instead of using the floor portals that are farther away, I use the one that is closer. Ignore the fact that I miss it alot, because this is just a route video, so in a speedrun, I wouldn't miss the shot. Secondly, I put the high wall portal in a different position. This spot, which is where there is a dark black stain, I put my crosshair right in the upside-down V part of the stain. This lines up with the right side of the exit elevator's railings. Then, I jump at an angle into the floor portal to allow me to hit the farther floor panels.

If done correctly, you will not hit the Aperture sign, and not the upper half of the elevator platform. Then, I slide (while holding crouch) on the railing so I don't go flying off. Again, if done correctly (as seen in this route video), you can use that momentum to bunny hop around the edge of the platform against the railing to get very quickly into the elevator.

Other than the trick in ricochet, I think this is one of the coolest tricks/flings I've done. Also, it will save time on a speedrun of the game. It probably won't help for challenges, though. Enjoy!
