Portal (Day 3 of 6) walkthrough (Apple II - Activision)
2June 3rd, 2106 - Based on what I learned from Homer yesterday, the world was devoid of diseases, but the rise of NP weapons and Mind Wars contributed to new forms of genetic disease. Since David Devore had obtained access to Psilnk and the psion equations, he was able to connect with Wanda Sixlove on spaceship Vega 26 lightyears away from Earth. David's mother was killed in a crossfire in a Mind War and his biological father, Regent Sable, arrived in Springfield West to see her before she was recycled. Regent knew what David was up to and he wanted to stop David. David and his friends were hiding from Regent's troops and they needed to move fast!
Based on a novel by Rob Swigart, Portal (http://www.mobygames.com/game/apple2/portal) was an interactive fiction published by Activision in 1986 for the Apple ][. Portal feels more like an e-book than a typical adventure game, as the player does not face any danger from accessing the computer terminal.
