Portal QoL Mod - Behind The Scenes Texture Showcase
3Spent a good bit of today working on finishing up any unfinished portions to my Quality of Life mod for Portal. This video's a bit of a showcase of some of the textures and materials I've updated. The metal block models seen in some rattmann dens now have specular reflections and a proper bump map based off of a similar wall material. In addition to this, all computer components, including the mouse, keyboard, monitor, desktop, and open desktop models now all have specular and phong mapping. For the later portion of the game, the observer room floor tiles now use their unused ssbump maps, which, might I add, only went unused because the material author for them used the wrong setting and accidentally broke them, and instead of finding a fix, simply commented out the settings. The mod will most likely be available some time next week.
