I'm a huge fan of the Dreamcast and

Back in 1997 this game was big news on the PC - developed by Running with Scissors & published by Ripcord Games - this courted controversy at the height of videogame violence once again being in the headlines (after the controversy a few years earlier over Mortal Kombat & Night Trap) alongside games like Carmageddon etc.

The title alludes to the American term "Going Postal" which basically means getting so angry that you lose control (and go on a rampage).The game has you playing as a trench coat wearing gun toting character that while in the games story is in an asylum (so it could all be in his mind) does feature you killing a set number of enemies per level to get to the next stage. Not difficult to see how this game was controversial.........

In 2016 the developer - Running with Scissors made the Source Code available (which essentially is needed in order to accurately port anything) and requested it got ported to Dreamcast. In late 2021 a developer called Dan Redfield released an early playable Beta of his port to Dreamcast. Obviously as the screen mentions it is early and prone to a few bugs etc but this is usual for a Beta release as some bugs will need squishing and the code will need optimising etc.

While it really isn't my kind of game at all it is great to see developers making the Source Code available and there are a ton of PC games that would be brilliant to see ported to Dreamcast so fingers crossed that some other Developers follow suit!
