This is just a fun challenge I'll be trying through 2022 to keep things fresh. I'm challenging myself to find a Game (or games) at the price of £1 or less each week) with a view to making a video. It is probably easily doable if you just buy older Fifa and other sports titles but I'm going to try to avoid the obvious.
The fun will be seeing how many games & how many formats & how many fun experiences £50 can get you in a year as opposed to just buying 1 brand new title.
I'll try to film buying the game etc but it isn't always possible. Games will be sourced from shops that have pre-owned sections, market stalls, charity shops & more
Most episodes will just feature the Game & the details of where the game was bought and the price etc Because it is a new series of videos I wanted to explain the rules I imposed on myself.
This video will sit alongside my semi regular other content - it won't replace it. I'll try to do regular videos on this but can't promise I will manage to make it a regular weekly thing although I will try to stick to it. Should be 50 videos over the year (plus bonus content!)
I also will be buying the games - no trade ins or trade ups. If this series is popular I may look at a series doing exactly that next year - i.e. starting with £1 & seeing what I can buy & trade in & buy & trade in etc
This is Sonic Generations on XBOX 360 which is a really fun and colourful platformer merging two different eras of Sonic - the Classic Design & the 3D Design with two differing gameplay styles. It is super fun & I look forward to playing more of it. I don't play it brilliantly here but hopefully it gives you a flavour!
Cost me 50 pence (actually the charity shop had it marked at £2 but with a 50% off everything sale meaning it was a quid) The lady at the Till then said - all media is 2 for £1 today. So I stocked up on a few title - some of which will feature in this series as well as a couple of movies & books. Utter bargain!
This is the first 360 game to feature on my channel. I'm limited in terms of capture so it is captured at 720p & 60 frames per second as this seemed the best balance.
Also - let me know what you think. I'm keen to experiment.
I'm also sorting my loft and finding all sorts of obscurities, oddities and nice games from my collection so I'll be doing some random vids. Let me know if there is a console or game you'd like to see. Let me know if there are any games or consoles you'd like videos about. Let me know if you like the format (i.e. no voiceover and the addition of short facts). Want End Cards added to point out other similar videos? I'm just trying things really.
