1My theorized fastest possible kill on this fight utilizing the 7 rocket boosts method.
By pressing and holding attack as the miniboss passes through you the first time, you have just enough time to time 2 key sword swings on the boss before the rocket is fully charged.
By doing this you can get a very early rocket charge hit right off the bat.
The other big time save with this strat is killing the miniboss as far left as possible. This gets it off screen as soon as possible and allows you to progress to the next part of the level sooner.
Keep in mind that attempting to hit this guy from the side as opposed to above is incredibly risky due both to its hitbox being narrow and constantly moving. You can easily miss entirely as well as not ricochet high enough to re-grab the bar above.
