My early testing of this build showed bad results, so I left it and focused on Axe. It turned out that I was just getting bad rng on the pulls I did. After refining the rotation it's clear that this is the best way to play BSW right now.

Sword is consistently better than Axe on burst and sustain. It's carried hard by Final Thrust but has really good damage per cast time on it's auto attack chain. The added mobility on Sword 2 is also handy.

Try not to delay your single slashes (after the sword loop) as the Thief buff will normally run out just after that slash when going at normal speed. It's instantly re-applied with your follow up gunsaber skills. However, if you're forced to delay, it's better to slash with full 10 charges than slashing early.
