For those who don't know, Power Stone was a full 3D fighting game exclusive to the SEGA Dreamcast, and to be honest one of my favorites. The sequel, Power Stone 2, removed much of the finer and skillful mechanics of the first game and made it into more of a party game, what with an entire book of items to use, more characters, and the introduction of moving stages.

It's hard to appreciate as a fighting game, but imo it's a top notch party game. That being said the 1 player adventure mode can be tough at the highest level (8), what with the game's cheap A.I. and damage outputs there.

Ayame is next, though I actually meant to choose Gunrock. Ayame is somewhat similar to Falcon, though Adventure mode is a bit harder with her because of her lower defense (probably the lowest in the game next to Pride). She somewhat makes up for it in speed, though her attack is also lower as well.

Her game comes down to strictly evading and using the environment, her double jump, and the power stones to her advantage. Her Power Fusions are useful for playing keep away, though only one of them does any real damage. 100 Flower Bloom, where she throws shurikens in all directions, is great for keeping the enemy juggled long enough to collect the power stones again or get some space. 100 Flower Power, where she throws the pins from the sky, is her only method of doing immense damage, though its difficult since you have to rapidly tap the buttons while aiming to get the most out of it. Once mastered and aimed correctly, though, it' literally is the strongest Fusion in the game.

As for the final boss Dr. Erode, 100 Flower Power is about the only way to take him down. The difficulty is finding the time to use it, since it requires a certain height and he loves spamming moves that move his face out of the way. Bleh.
