Power Tool Genex Vs. Various Other Decks | Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links
"Machine and might combine to bring peace to the world! I Synchro Summon! The monster with some major motor! Power Tool Dragon!"
So, not gonna lie, never really been Leo's number 1 fan. However, I've always liked Power Tool Dragon, and after messing with a few Genex builds since I own a ton of Genex cards now, and looking at all my Machine Equip Spells, I figured I'd give this a shot. It surprisingly works well, however, it's very VERY bricky at times. I don't own as many Normal Machine monsters as I'd like, otherwise I may just cut some of the other cards out for them, I also didn't own all the Equips I'd like either. So, it is what it is. Debating to exceed 20 cards for this deck due to the constant searching. +1 Dai, +1 Mechanicalchaser, +1 Gravity Blaster, and maybe +1 Air Cracking Storm. Idk. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
This deck is NOT competitive. It's just a stupid little fun deck I came up with. If you have any suggestions feel free to send some my way, I'd love to improve on it. If we had access to more Power Tool Dragons outside of this skill, the deck would honestly be loads better, or just more level 7 targets. Half of these duels were in casual, the other in Platinum Rank.

0:00 - Crystal Beast Blue Eyes
--Going to assume the skill for this was Transcendent Crystals, since he seemed to only run Pegasus and that's a draw engine in this game.
1:57 - Genex
-Skill unknown
3:45 - Six Samurai
-Skill: Fields of Warriors
5:44 - Red-Eyes/Gandora
-Skill Monstermorph: Evolution
--Don't really know what this deck was, tbh. Red-Eyes Gandora seems right since there was no Extra Deck.
8:19 - Horus Level Up
-Going to assume the skill was Destiny Draw, but I can't know for sure. Interesting deck, though.
11:07 - Destiny HERO
-Skill: Switcheroo
--I misclicked and clicked "NO" to attacking twice during that one turn. He must've drawn a bad hand. Still though.
13:04 - Ojamas
-Skill: The Land of Ojamas
--Save the best for last. This duel was actually pretty good. I've never seen Ojamas run that way before, and in Ranked nonetheless. Overall, it was interesting, if I wasn't running Galaxy Cyclone I would have been decked out.
I know people usually put Deck Lists at the end, start, or somewhere on the video, but I don't want to do that. So, I'll add any deck I use in these videos to the description like so.
Deck List:
Skill: Courage and Strength
Monsters:
x2 Genex Neutron
x2 R-Genex Accelerator
x2 Mechanicalchaser
x3 Genex Controller
Spells:
x2 Unexpected Dai
x1 Galaxy Cyclone
x1 Fighting Spirit
x1 Axe of Despair
x2 Gravity Blaster
x2 Air Cracking Storm
Traps
x2 Pulse Mines
Extra Deck:
x2 Stardust Dragon
x3 Windmill Genex
Removed mid video:
x2 Break! Draw! - Replaced with Gravity Blaster
Not the greatest deck, granted. However, it stays consistent most of the time. Not meta in the least. I run x2 R-Genex Accelerators to have something else to Synchro with if Power Tool goes out. There's no other Level 7 Synchros as of yet, otherwise this'd probably be a Normal monster deck, rather than mostly Genex. Once we get more Synchros, more options will open up.
Before all else, the deck's purpose is to summon Power Tool. Windmill Genex is a last resort, if I can manage it. Stardust doesn't really serve a purpose.
