Hey Everyone, here is the short video for a simple mechanical gas filter. Other than getting the gas in the loop it works powerless.

Pitfalls:
1. Even though there is no animation - It NEEDS a Dupe to confirm your valve settings - so dont place it higher than 4 tiles from any ground so your dupe can reach it (or build and remove a ladder).

2. The flow of the gas in the mechanical loop needs to be opposite to the input flow. I showed two versions in this video (even though one might go counter clockwise and the other clockwise -that doesn't matter - it depends on where in the loop the bridges connect. The flow in the loop needs to go in direction from the second to the first bridge (viewed from the input pipe).

3. It can be annoying getting the gases in the loops.

4. Where does the leftover 1g (or whatever you put as valve value) go? Well if the system runs NONSTOP with ONLY the same gastype, then every 1000 packages (when you used 1g) or every 10000 packages of 1kg gas packages (when you used 0.1 as valve value) the system "breaks" and let's the amount you set as valve value through (as a continuous stream). But if there is even a short pause between any of the 1000-10000 packages or if you have different gas types in the pipe the system resets the "will-let-gas-through-counter" again.
So in short: It can't handle a continuously stream of 1000 x 1kg packages of the same gas type, but it probably can handle infinite amounts of ~998 x 1kg packages. [The question is why would you use a filter on an already pure pipe?]
