Hey Guys, this short video is my clunky version of a self powered oxygen module.
I used this before I ever got a "Rodriguez" running.

This SPOM produces enough oxygen for around 10 Duplicants. The slower oxygen output of the lower module is intended. It has to do with the heat distribution.

You will have to fill up the Battery with a manual generator (the hamster wheel) first. Maybe twice. After that it should keep running.

Tipps:
The lower part and the hydrogen generator part can be extended modularly.
So you can extend it to fit the needs of more duplicants.
Since one electrolyzer only needs 1kg of water a second you could easily build 10 of the 4 x 4 oxygen rooms (lowest floor) side by side.
The hydrogen output pipes can be combined until you reach a the full 1kg limit.

Pitfalls:
1. Needs to run for a while to fill the reserve gas tank and pressurize the vacuumed room.
2. Will eventually heat up to unpleasent levels. (To cool it down cool the lowest part - the oxygen production roon - with liquid pipes)


What if it backed up or ran dry?:
If the oxygen pipe backed up (for example when your base is fully pressurized) the gaspumpes will just have blocked pipes until the situation changes and then they will start again. No problem.
The hydrogen gas pipe can not back up if set up correctly.

If the water pipe ran dry the sytem will keep the battery alive untli the hydrogen in the gas pipes and the reserve is used up.
If there is a minimum amount of hydrogen in the pipes or you accumulated some in the reserve tank system, then the SPOM will start again even if it didn't run for a long time.

Sensor Settings:
Gas Valve: 0.1 g/s
Bottle Emptier: Water (only drop a tiny amount of water so it ends up with less than 2 better less than 1kg water per tile)

Gas Pipe Element Sensor: Hydrogen
Filter Gate left: 2 s
Filter Gate right: 15 s (you can change those an see what happens)
Smart Batterie: High Threshold: 90, Low Threshold: 75
