Can be jumped out of or shielded, shown by the last Mario clip (the first Mario clip was to show that it connected on Mario if he didn't do anything). Even if they don't, it's inconsistent for some (most?) characters, shown by the Bowser clip.
All these clips used Bidou for consistency (even then, I still wasn't consistent).
I did try PP turnaround Jab, but it was too hard for me to do it multiple times in a row. The turnaround animation would probably take too long anyway.
