This is not a ROM hack. No audio or video editing took place aside from cutting out unwanted pieces at the beginning and end of the original recording, adding titles where needed and adding the ParadoxPowerPlays intro.
-Story-
One day, CelestOrion and several friends decided to do an LP of Sonic 3 & Knuckles. The game was played on a Wii via the Sonic Mega Collection Gamecube disc. So, what went wrong you might ask?
Well, CelestOrion recorded the video and audio through video capture. Because of some configuration problems, only Celest had any game audio by way of the television he was playing the game on. Everyone in the Livestream had no audio and since Celest was not hearing any sound from the PC he was recording the playthrough on, nobody was aware that the CPU on Celest's computer was being overloaded during the entire playthrough!
The result? One of the background audio encoders failed in a spectacular way, causing the game sound to randomly speed up, slow down, pitch-bend dramatically and just completely freak out altogether!
We have dubbed this unique playthrough "SONIC3&K.EXE" and we hope you enjoy our first-time reactions to this horribly-broken music and sound!
