NOTE: It is possible to currently do online multi-player games on the PC version of Sonic & All-Stars racing Transformed! All you have to do is have you and your friends all set your steam download server for the same server. For example, setting your and your friends' Steam download servers as US - New York.

Do this by going to the "Steam" drop-down menu on the main Steam window. From there, select "Settings". Next, click on the tab labeled "Downloads + Cloud". Now, look for a drop-down arrow menu labeled as "Download Region", All you have to do now is make certain you and your friends all select the same exact server; thus, enabling you and your friends to play ASRT together online without region and distance being an issue.

However, do note that only the Custom Game option is available at this time. Match Making will not function until, more or less, Service Pack 1 for ASRT is released by Sumo Digital.

Also, if you have a corporate Internet connection [most likely you do not] this work-around will sadly not work for you.

One of the more interesting things is that RGXSuperSonic's video card is not supported for the PC version of ASRT, so almost all of the game visuals are invisible on his screen. Despite this, most of the time, he's able to do fairly well since he has played the game on other platforms.
