I made an instructional video about setting up guy lines on a tent. I needed a few different angles or views and I needed to move around. The Problem that I needed to solve for shooting this video was "How do I get the different angles I need as I am shooting this video by myself and I need both hands for part of the video?"

Here is how I set up to shoot the instructional video. I used a Kodak Zi6 with the tripod that it came with. In the first shot, I am holding the camera. In the second shot, I set up a crate at the height that I needed for demonstrating tying the hitch knot to the tent. In the following shot, I placed the camera on the ground. And finally, for the last shot, I held the camera between my legs.

I did a "walk through" for the first go to make sure that I would have all the angles that I wanted.

It only took me two takes and I did it all on my own.
