You must now go back to Yu's Office, located in Talos I Lobby. Take your time while walking there because, since your last visit in the Talos lobby, this place may be infested with new monsters. In the Teleconferencing center you can find one of the stronger enemies called Etheric Phantom. If you found the Q-Beam in the Hardware Labs (the description for acquiring this weapon can be found on one of the pages of this guide) then this is a good moment to use it. Otherwise, try to sneak attack the Phantom or reach the office by following an alternative way (jump on the hanging objects above the main part of the lobby or by go through the Sales Division). Besides the Phantom you should also expect to fight with Greater Mimics that are more resistant than the "regular" ones (the best way to deal with them is to stop them with GLOO Cannon and then finish them off with any weapon).
When you are in the office you must, once again, use Yu's computer and watch the rest of the recording. This ends this rather long mission.
Speak with January
Take the card and the neuromod left by January
Since January is not a living creature you should not expect her to appear in Yu's Office in Talos I Lobby personally. Instead, an operator, that January took over, will appear there. Speak with her. You receive new objectives and a General Access card which can help you to get to a new part of the station and a neuromod.
You can examine the broken operator
When January appears in the room you can act in a different way - you can destroy the operator controlled by her. This action is required to get Suicide by Proxy achievement. What is interesting is that this action won't make you fail any of the upcoming main missions. You can examine the remains of the destroyed operator. Thanks to that you get a note (tips on what you should do next), General Access card and a neuromod.
In both cases a new main mission will begin, called Detour.
Checking the elevator in Talos 1 Lobby
You cannot use the elevator during the initial stages of the game
This objective will only appear on your list if you have never before discovered that the lift cannot be used yet (when exploring Talos I Lobby). Go one level down and examine the elevator near the reception (the one that goes to Arboretum and the Life Support level. Talking to January wll let you discover that the elevator is inactive (you will be able to repair it after reaching it from the Arboretum).
