In this video, we visit with Richard from Retro-Bit to discuss a very special set of controllers coming from Retro-Bit and available exclusively from Limited Run Games.

In the USA, October is always breast Cancer awareness month. In an effort to help raise awareness and donations for the cause, Retro-Bit is preparing to release a very special limited edition set of pink controllers for the Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, and USB devices.

What makes these controllers different from their standard Genesis and Saturn controllers isn't just the outside shells. Retro-Bit went all-in on the Pink theme, the color for breast cancer awareness, with these controllers. The circuit boards, the button membranes, anything that could be pink is pink on these controllers. They also feature logo of the charity that they will be donating 10% of all sales to.

Above and beyond the aesthetics, the wired controllers feature a 10ft long cable, they feature the same connectors as the OEM equipment and are officially licensed by Sega. In the hands, they feel identical to the original equipment, which they should sense retro bits and Sega have been working together on releasing controllers for the better part of a year now.

Cancer is a terrible disease and it has definitely affected my family. From my mother, my brother, my wife, and my stepmother, cancer is a truly terrible disease. I appreciate companies like retro bits and limited run games coming together to help raise money and awareness to try to eliminate this from our society.
