7:59 - 14:39 - New Wave Toys
16:07 - 21:26 - Retro-Bit
23:06 - 27:21 - Marseille mClassic
24:40 - 30:37 - Retro-Bit/Limited Run Games Pink Sega Controllers for Charity
31:09 - 38:44 - Castlemania Games

The Portland Retro Gaming Expo was again just an absolute blast. What made it super special for me was the fact my brother Scott, who lives about 10 minutes away from the convention center, hung out with me and the crew all weekend long. To a person, Adam from 1UpCard to The Gaming Off the Grid guys, Ryan from Castlemania games, Ron, Richard, and Kris from Retro-Bit, everybody who was a friend to me was also a friend to him. This truly means the world to me and I want to thank all of you for bringing him into the fold with us.

This year was more about quality over quantity of pickups. Last year I spent almost $400 at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo, but I filled in some pretty big gaps in my collection. This year, I spent about a quarter of that and picked up a few very specific things that I was looking for. Huge props to Trip, one of my Patreon supporters, for helping me finally (FINALLY!!) pick up a copy of Parodius for the Famicom. While it is a repro, I'm also thrilled to have a copy of the Nintendo World Championships in my collection.

There are no words to describe truly how amazing it was to be in a room with every single Sega Genesis game ever produced. John Hancock's collection is amazing to see, the quality is top-notch, and he has always been gracious with his time any time we have been together. I truly hope someday he will be able to make his dream of a video game museum come true.

I have to talk about the cool gear that was at the show for a minute too. Retro-bit was on point with their new items. I already have the Bluetooth Sega Genesis and Sega Saturn controllers for review, as soon as I can catch my breath I will be filming both of those reviews. I knew the MetalStorm Collector's Edition was going to be awesome, I had no idea just how gorgeous everything was going to be. That is another one where I cannot wait to get my hands on for review. And their Wireless Tribute 64 controller? Man I cannot wait to play this, I know people have been chomping at the bit for it but their patience will be well rewarded here soon.

PRGE was the first opportunity I had to chat with the gang at New Wave Toys, but Peter and Aaron were both amazing and kind. It was also cool to see all the New Wave Toys cabinets, the Street Fighter one, man if I wouldn't have had a wedding to pay for the weekend after PRGE, that would have come home with me. As it is I am likely to order one anyway, it was so stinking cool! The upcoming Dragon's Lair game was also just stunningly gorgeous as well, and the scale Laserdisc player just took it to the next level. Fingers crossed but we should have more content featuring New Wave Toys coming in the future!

I want to thank everyone who came up and said they were a fan of the channel, who wanted a picture, who just spent time to talk with me. It is extremely humbling and gratifying each time to meet a fan, and we are growing an amazing community here. You all are the reason why I continue to go to shows and produce videos, and the community did not disappoint at PRGE.
