Prince Harry in US for Warrior Games 13.05.13
The Warrior Games is underway in Colorado in the USA.
30 wounded, injured or ill athletes from the UK are taking part in a Help for Heroes Team, against 230 American competitors, in seven sports.
The events attracted the world's attention, thanks to the attendance of Prince Harry at the opening ceremony.
He had come to officially begin the fourth Warrior Games, where the Help For Heroes Team is flying the flag for the UK.
Either serving or former military personnel, they've all experienced trauma -- wounds gained in the field, injury or sickness.
Prince Harry spent around 50 minutes talking easily with the team before the opening ceremony, keen to learn of their injuries, how Help for Heroes has assisted in the rehabilitation process and what the Warrior Games mean to them. He even joined a sitting volleyball practice.
The Brits face stiff competition from the US Army, Marines, Navy, Airforce and Special Ops.
Prince Harry was on hand to light the Warrior Games Cauldron, alongside Lt Brad Snyder, who lost his sight in Afghanistan, but went on to win two golds and a silver in the pool at last summers London Paralympics.
Twelve hundred people attended the opening ceremony -- as did much of the world's media.
The 35-strong UK squad will take part in archery, cycling, shooting, swimming, track and field, wheelchair basketball and sitting volleyball.
