His Royal Highness Prince Harry has paid a visit to Lancashire's Weeton Barracks to meet hundreds of British Army soldiers from 2nd Battalion, The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment.

2 LANCS played a key role in the relief effort during the recent floods in the north-west of England, and the Prince wanted to pay a personal tribute to the troops who gave up their Christmas to help others.

Lancashire was affected by unprecedented flooding in December, with more than 1,700 businesses and homes damaged a cross its 12 districts, with troops on 24 hour call.

Prince Harry also met children from Weeton Primary School and gave them tips on how they could meet the Queen!
