Princess Maker 2 is strategy game with RPG elements developed by japanese studio Gainax for NEC PC-98 computers in 1993. Game was also ported to FM Towns and IBM PC computers. Game was translated from japanese to english by Softegg studio but was never released due to publisher bankrupt. English version is available as abandonware for MS-DOS. I used DosBox 0.74 to emulate game and I recorded gameplay with built-in DosBox recorder (Fraps works unstable under DosBox even on faster computers). It is one of few MS-DOS games that don't use MIDI for Adlib/Sound Blaster sound cards but PMD (Professional Music Driver) programmed by Masahiro Kajihara (梶原正裕), game music composer. PMD was created for Yamaha FM synthesis sound chips and use Macro Music Language (MML) which is incompatible with MIDI devices like Roland MT-32 or SC-55.
