Profits Buy New Machines: Upgrading Machinery for Beet Harvest | Fichthal V2 Farm | FS 22 | ep #21
291Welcome back to the Fichthal V2 Farm Timelapse. Our farm continues to produce and sell a variety of goods: potato chips, firewood pallets, beef, and grain pellets.
Profits from these sales are being reinvested in new machinery and equipment to improve our operations.
To prepare the fields for the next planting season, we recently purchased a CASE Ecolo-Til 2500 plow and a CASE 7200 Pro Series tractor.
Following the potato harvest, a hired worker used this new equipment to plow the fields.
As sugar beet harvest time arrived, we invested in a new VERVAET 17T beet harvester to streamline the process.
The harvest began with the combine harvester working in the first beet field.
Other equipment involved in the harvest includes:
A FENDT 714 VARIO tractor with a loader trailer for transporting the beets.
A FIAT 190-38 ITRunner truck for hauling larger quantities of beets.
The harvested beets are first delivered to our on-site processing facility.
After processing, the beets are then transported to our cellar for storage.
