257Welcome back to the La Coronella Farm Timelapse. Today, our focus remains on provisioning raw materials for our recently inaugurated soybean processing facility. With production underway, we face a critical shortage of flour. To address this, our primary task is to gather barley from nearby fields and transport the yield to the milling facility for processing. Once this task is complete, our attention shifts back to completing the soybean harvest utilizing our combines and other machinery.
In addition to this, we've expanded our land holdings by investing $1.7 million, securing several new fields. Following the soybean harvest, we'll proceed with harvesting sorghum, delivering the harvested crop to the mill for processing. Meanwhile, as harvesting progresses, a surplus of finished products has accumulated at the soybean factory, necessitating their transfer onto a flatbed trailer for transportation.
Subsequently, we embark on delivering these finished goods to our revamped point of sale—a cafe now specializing in selling soy patties. Our initial sales have yielded promising profits, motivating us to sustain our endeavors in this venture.
