Project: Bloodlust - Map07 - Last Man Standing
Map 07 "Last Man Standing" is heavily influenced by good old Map07 "Dead Simple" but with a much more expanded idea and way more monsters. The design is meant to not only cater to the more skilled players (the faster you go the worse shape you're going to be in), but those a little newer to the difficulty they are playing on. With the high possibility of lots of infighting, the player can stay safe and sound for a little bit. Ammo is balanced so that you don't feel like you're going to run out but you can't waste it and have to work out which weapon will be effective. It feels like "Dead Simple" if you needed a bit of strategy to beat it.
What is "Project: Bloodlust"? "Project: Bloodlust" is a 32-map megawad for Doom 2, made mostly by me. "Project: Bloodlust" is only a stand-in .wad name as it has not been finalized yet. I'm sure I will need help as it progresses with figuring things out, and probably with intermission screen art and such. It will start off with easy, balanced maps, and it will progress into much more difficult territory, hitting around the difficulty of Alien Vendetta, Hell Revealed, or Plutonia 2. The maps themselves won't be terribly large as I want to focus on mostly smaller, action-packed maps, but that doesn't mean it won't happen. There is still a lot up in the air, so things can change.
