PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 together with Doom 2 Map Recreation Project beta by Generic Doomer, difficulty 12 on 10 scale of bad with Chaotic Random Spawn preset, 100% Secrets achieved. Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop.

Doom 2 Map Recreation Project is a nice WAD that aims to well... recreate DOOM II Hell On Earth with better layouts, a little bit more expanded maps with vanilla feeling. At the moment you can play and try the maps from 01-05, MAP13 Downtown and a final MAP30 Icon Of Sin that uses a proper enemy instead of a wall texture with Romero's head inside. As you may notice in case of the MAP30 Icon of Sin, there are some attacks that can be hardly avoided because of a very small distance between you and the final boss. When the Icon of Sin attacks you with a volley of a very quick explosive projectiles, you should be rather hiding behind a cover because amount of these unguided projectiles is big. All of the remaining maps are pretty similar to their vanilla counterparts, except MAP13 Downtown that has got a slightly different map layout and it feels way more a city than before. You can enter the interiors of buildings to get some ammunition, items and even fight monsters inside, but be aware because fighting might be almost instant when you enter. You may notice that some of the secrets there are surely missing, MAP13 has only got so far one secret with blue keycard, a blue armor inside a wall has been completely removed. If you remember a Downtown from Extermination Day, this is something really familiar but closer to the vanilla and in my opinion this is a better version than that in vanilla DOOM 2. Do not forget also to redownload your Glory Kill addon as regular as possible, this addon gets updates almost every day and it's worth to check it up.
