BRUTAL DOOM v21 - Quake II PSX Reborn #1 [100% SECRETS]
1,093BRUTAL DOOM V21 GOLD together with Quake II PSX Reborn by Laser_Doom, difficulty Ultra-Violence 100% Secrets achieved, together with Duke Nukem 3D Devastators! As you see on the thumbnail, Duke Nukem's one of the most iconic weapon, Devastators have been brutalized by Dox778 and are ready to blow up everything on path. Weapons deals a lot of damage (to HAVE A LOT OF FUN), but is difficult to control at first, thankfully it is not so rapid fire as original Duke Nukem 3D Devastator. The addon has two versions that cannot be loaded at the same time - one uses normal rockets as ammo, the other one uses Revenant's missiles, it's up to you which to pick up. As for the Quake II PSX Reborn WAD, this recreates a Quake II from the PSX, version that a lot of people never played (including myself, I only played both Quake I & II on the PC). The WAD consists of 6 levels, five of them have a normal progression with secrets and several monsters to fight, if you played Quake II on PC, you are going to spot differences. The maps are pretty similar in layout and lots of their most characteristic places have been merged as a one a large map, first map of Quake II has been greatly expanded. WAD is not so difficult (it is not while playing with Brutal Doom), but some of the encounters might give you a lot of trouble, especially those with surprise Archviles. In some situations you are pretty much surrounded by monsters almost in every corner, but you can overcome this by simply exploring map to get a better place for entry. And be always prepared for the new monsters when you visit a place again later, thankfully these are mostly former Humans but sometimes you can see Lost Souls or Elemental. As for the secrets, there are lots of them to find while playing, most of them are behind fake/shootable walls and it's always nice to find buttons on the walls to activate.
