843PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 together with Project Slipgate Remastered by TheSolution on Man And A Half difficulty level for DOOM 2 Hell On Earth, Chaotic Random spawn preset, 100% Secrets achieved. Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop (same with addons, they are not 100% always compatible and actual). Project Slipgate Remastered Demo has four incredibly detailed levels set across Quake II climax maps, mappack is also really huge because it weighs over 400MB and has high quality textures with sound effects and music inside. The difficulty of this WAD is moderate, there are not really difficult ambushes where you are stormed by for example dozens of Hell Knights or Revenants at the same time, think more of a casual/vanilla DOOM or Quake approach to player. Of course there are some surprises waiting for you such as invisible monsters (they are the same monsters as always but they have an invisible flag) that reveal only once attacking you and quite frankly, lots of them are Arch-Viles. It is more a WAD that focuses on the atmosphere than actions, the monster amount is not huge on every map (never exceeds 200, most of the times lower than 100), it's good to have a flashlight addon always ready to use. Some of the sections are also really long and you must wait (thus I had to cut the video in some places because waiting might be problematic) and it's good to familiarize yourself with layout because it is easy to feel lost. There are also some custom assets/triggers for you to be used, for example you must power up the portal with a battery found just nearby, otherwise you will not activate an exit teleporter and one last remaining monster. The third level might feel the smallest because only there are 20+ monsters just at the beginning but because of that nasty surprise at the end (I will not spoil to you) it's easy to fail the map, especially with PB monsters around. Once you reach an 'escape' there is a last final map where we leave Quake II techbase setting for good and head straight to Hell for a final boss and his minions waiting for us but in my opinion the final confronation is thankfully not that hard. It is really good for you (player) to find as many secrets as possible because they mostly have Backpacks, Plasma Rifles, Soulspheres, Megaarmors, Rocket Launchers and other stuff way earlier than during the normal playthrough.
