PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 - Beautiful UAC Phobos Lab Remake [100% SECRETS]
PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 together with E1M5 Phobos Lab Remake by GuardSoul on Man And A Half difficulty level for Ultimate Doom, Chaotic Random spawn preset, 100% Secrets achieved. Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop (same with addons, they are not 100% always compatible and actual). To be clear when you download this map and have problems while loading - this is a map for The Ultimate Doom IWAD not DOOM II Hell On Earth and it occupies E1M5 slot as original Phobos Lab, it does not start as a first map in the episode. The improved textures are because of the HD Textures mod that you can find downloadable in the description, remember that there are various versions that you have to load, obviously don't load Ultimate Doom textures with DOOM II and vice versa. These weapons (vanilla weapons of Project Brutality) look so smooth because of the Neural Upscale addon in the description, but be careful because if you have a skin for other vanilla weapon like Shotgun, it will create conflicts. This remake created by GuardSoul is a faithful remake together with newly added areas, improved textures (in vanilla) some custom scripting like activation of lasers, force field destruction etc. and horizontal doors in the level. There are some freshly added secrets like the ventilation shaft with a small bonus inside (just jump and kick the grating) some secrets have completely different triggers (fe. buttons) and one of them can be deadly to use. If you jump incorrectly to a platform with Invisibility Sphere (replaced by captured Marine here because of Project Brutality) you will instantly die, so time your jump correctly otherwise you are going to restart the level. This is also one of the very rare cases where map author states that jumping & crouching are mandatory, surely you will not got going to find some places if you stuck to vanilla, it's also helpful when navigating through toxic slime. Map has of course few different areas when compared to the original, for example the Rocket Launcher + Megaarmor secret no longer is a secret area (shame because I've triggered 7 of them out of 8) and final arena does not need Night Vision Goggles.
