Now for something a little different: a custom trailer made for the work-in-progress Project Ulysees mod for HOI4. Aka, that one ambitious effort to bring the world of Strangereal from Ace Combat to life. And despite setbacks, it's back in production.

For those unfamiliar, Namco Bandai's Ace Combat (currently headed by Project Aces) is an arcade flight action game that could be best described as either "Metal Gear with planes" or an anime saga that happens to involve jets. For some trivia and credits, the music tracks used are a combination of Zero from "Ace Combat 5" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80XAJKqRU9k ) and Daredevil from "Ace Combat 7" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kVdCaczLE8 ). The poster at the end was done by ElectronicOldMen, with the emblems coming from other members of the dev team. In addition to the footage taken from the games themselves, the fanmade machinima (done via DCS) clips are from the very talented Nassault, specifically the following:
