APE was created to by Adam Aron to CRUSH the shorts. Adam Aron specifically knew that should would need to close their AMC shorts pre APE issue, or increase their short positions making it significantly more difficult for them to keep shorting.
This is taken from confidential AMC documentation, there's no talk of Adam Aron 'colluding' with Citibank, simply 'colluding' to crush the shorts!
Adam Aron even noted the shorts may try to sue AMC for this dividend as the dividend will be SO BAD for the shorts, this is some great work by Adam Aron and its likely why the threats against him have increased recently!
