The DOJ have just launched a new investigation into illegal shorting, and expect to charge short sellers for manipulating stocks via options over the next few months.
Thats absolutely brilliant news, especially if this time it isn't just 'lip service'. Short selling and short manipulation has gained new prominence after 'bank stocks had been manipulated', therefore I expect more of a crackdown into short sellers, which could lead to margin lenders withdrawing their loans!
