This started out as a "best settings" video, for playing The Witcher 3, at 1440p, with a GTX 1070. Toward the end of the video, however, my 1070 started to throttle in a predictable manner, that I demonstrated repeatedly. I notice and begin testing the throttling, at aournd the 1:11:00 mark. (1 hour 11 minutes) I then test and repeat the throttling behavior for the rest of the video.

This is important, because this is a water cooled graphics card that I had never seen throttle, until I was recording this video. My air cooled GTX 1070's throttle all the time, and I have discussed that in other videos. But my water cooled 1070 had not throttled before I recorded this play session.

I have long said that I think three different things make Pascal cards throttle. Heat. GPU Boost 3.0. And Pascal's efforts toward energy efficiency.
