In this video, we unbox and check out the MoKo PU Leather Anti-Scratch Cover Case for the Nintendo Switch Lite.

The Nintendo Switch Lite is a great little portable system. The capabilities rival it's larger cousin, all while being more portable. Being able to play on-the-go means you often need a way to transport and protect your Switch Lite when you're out. Enter the MoKo PU Leather Cover Case for the Switch Lite.

The case itself is available in one of three colors, to match your system color. Black, Yellow, and for the Turquois Bois out there, one to match that system too. We tested out the black one here, sent to us by MoKo for review, but can't help but wish for the Turquois color to match our Switch Lite. Sigh.

The case is a nice faux leather design, which helps provide a decent amount of protection for your system. The case reminds me a lot of similar ones for tablets, thanks to the ability to have it stand up to play games or consume content. It also reminds me of the fact that, for some reason, Nintendo opted to NOT include a kickstand with the Switch Lite. That was a phail in my book!

The Switch Lite is held into place by several hook-and-loop fasteners on the top of the system. One of the nice things is the section that the Switch Lite is retained by is, itself, attached to the rest of the case using very strong magnets. This means you can take the Switch Lite out of the case, without removing it from the case itself, when you want to play. Pretty smart!

To make it easier to take your games with you, 8 elastic pockets have been added to the top of the case itself. I would recommend putting the cartridges in sideways vs connector side to make sure the screen doesn't get scratched by the sides of the cart. The cartridges themselves are held in place pretty securely; no fear of things falling out here!

In addition to the included (and removable) wrist strap, there's also an elastic strap on the back for you to hold and carry the case with that I just dig. It reminds me of what some tablet cases have, and it's super convenient. It also has an internal pocket to store cash, IDs, payment cards, or anything else you might need while traveling. It could be a good spot to store a boarding pass!

With a leather or PU LEather case such as this, there may be a concern that heat may build up more than when not encased. Thankfully the case is well designed to allow proper airflow to the vents and fans, making sure heat never really becomes an issue.

Why it RoX:
- Available in 3 colors to match your system
- Under $20
- Holds up-to 8 Cartridges
- Included wrist strap
- Elastic Hand Strap is AWESOME
- Provides a Tabletop Option for the Switch Lite
- Switch Lite can be detached from the base easily

What Could Be Improved
- The finish on the outside of the case is somewhat slick
- Hook and loop fasteners can be a bit of a pain
- Cartridges can come in contact with the screen when stored
- An integrated screen protector would be nice

Should You Buy One?
If you have any desire to play your Switch Lite on-the-go in tabletop mode this is a no-brainer. For under $20 you get a nice way to protect your system while traveling that will provide decent protection and add some functionality as well. I do wish there was some sort of clear plastic screen protector over the display to protect it while the case is closed as carts can possibly scratch your screen while closed. Beyond that, this is a stylish case to transport and protect your Switch Lite, and something you should definitely check out.
