In this video, I give you a peek behind the curtain and walk you through my games room, show you my collection, and give aspiring YouTubers some tips along the way.

In March of 2020, I posted to the Community tab on YouTube, asking if people wanted to see a game room tour. I said if we got 100 people who said they wanted to see if I would actually film it, so here it is.

I think overall my collection is pretty straightforward, kind of humble, and not as impressive as others. In all, my largest collection is NES games, where I have about a hundred total cartridges. From here, my Super Nintendo, Super Famicom, Famicom, and Genesis collections are probably my next largest. I don't have anything that I would consider uniquely rare, although I do definitely have some favorites to my collection.

In 2019, I had a chance to meet the artist to one of my favorite childhood cartoons, Tad Stone who created Darkwing Duck. I loved the Disney afternoon cartoons as a kid, and Darkwing was one of my favorites. I remember playing Darkwing Duck on the NES as a kid, but I never owned it. I got my first copy in February of 2018 when I was in Germany, and I fell in love with the game. When I saw that he was at the show, I found a copy in good condition, one up and asked if you would be so kind as to autograph it, which he did.

Another favorite piece of my collection is my HDMI modded NES top loader. This was something that Ginger actually got me for a gift, and I proceeded to modify it with the HDMI kit. I learned a lot on that mod, one thing specifically was to test a system before beginning to modify it. Once I had the mod installed, I did not get any video output whatsoever. Turns out the PPU and CPU we're both bad in the system, which meant that I would have to buy another NES to get those components to finish the mod. The replacements wore out shortly after I installed them, and actually, the system died on me during a live stream. At this point, I sent the system to a modder who checked it out for me, replaced components, and made sure it worked in Tip-Top shape

Retro-bit has done a good job with their re-release collector's edition cartridges. The first two that they announced were Holy Diver for the NES and R-type Returns for the Super NES. I had played and enjoyed R-type, and upon opening and reading the instruction manual I was honored to learn that Retro-Bit put my name in the manual under special thanks. As such, I actually ordered a second copy R-type Returns, the limited edition set, from Castlemania Games, which will remain sealed.

I hope you guys enjoyed this look inside my game room, saw some neat things, and for aspiring YouTubers got some tips and tricks. If you ever have any questions about my set up, feel free to ask in the comments section or send me a message.
