So here is the final fight between James Heller and Alex Mercer in Prototype 2, but with Heller being swapped for PT1 Alex...

ok so here's my head canon
-in an alternate timeline Alex Mercer did not go evil. he stayed good and used his power(s) to help the people cull the the Blacklight Virus, after doing so to his world. he eventually found out how to travel the multiverse via his powers consume function. and while doing so this mercer saw another timeline. one in which James Heller would fight him during PT2. this "PT1" alex would step in, taking heller's place and fighting his future evil self
