All across the country today, reservists have been wearing their "uniform to work" as part of an annual day designed to promote awareness of the reserves in wider society.

Among them was RAF reservist Leading Air Crewman Andrew Gowland.

And as Ali Gibson reports, his military service couldn't be any further from his civilian day job.

She spent the day with him in Leith, near Edinburgh.
