Proximity effect and Ambient Control in Red Dead Redemption II. A Game Audio Talk by Cujo Sound
Third video in the series about Red Dead Redemption 2. Here I have found some interesting things about proximity effect and how sounds recorded at certain distances have issues when trying to represent a different distance.
Also ambient soundscapes fade in certain ways and sounds allows to be affected by these fades behave very differently once crossing gates or these ambient borders.
