I recently read that people were having trouble with rest mode on the ps5. One of the suggestions to fix this is to use safe mode and rebuild the database.


So how do you boot a ps5 into safe mode watch and see.


To try this ps5 rest mode fix just boot the ps5 into safe mode and choose rebuild database.


Booting ps5 into safe mode
Step one: With the PS5 turned off hold down the power button until it beeps
Step two: Connect the wired usb cable to the controller and PS5
Step three: Select number 5 clear cache and rebuild database
Step four: Select rebuild database
