PSP Proof of Concept | Command & Conquer: Generals
An FAI Production
-- Status: Playable, not recommended --
This is a quick Demo of C&C: Generals with a custom resolution of 480 x 270. This was done by adding the resolution through the control panel of their respective manufacturers.
----------------------------------------------------------
Due to the inherent design of the game for larger resolutions, some aspect in gameplay and graphics will be broken or imprecise.
Issues will include:
- Mouse sensitivity being far beyond normal limits.
- Cutscenes would have draw distance issues resulting in missing terrain.
- Fonts and text being too large to be displayed fully.
- (Pre existing) Inability to change setting in game without resetting resolution to 800x600.
- (Pre existing) Narrow FOV due to the the game not having the option for true widescreen resolutions.
----------------------------------------------------------
My current laptop is a Fujitsu Lifebook 741/D (Japanese model):
-Intel i5 2520m
-Intel HD 3000 graphics
-6 GB of Ram @ 1333mhz (4 GB stick salvaged from VAIO)
-250 Gigabyte Hard Disk drive
